Description

This dish or plate has professional restorations; they are well repaired.
I can see three areas with good repairs, one on the edge of the fish mouth, one on the glaze around one fish's eye region and a small chip filling on the rim of the plate. There is an old crack or hairline on the base rim.
Some loss of surface decorations or golden paint. Signs of use, so there are some scratches on the glaze. Some small enamel loss on the surface.
Blue and white scale pattern, with enamel decorations. Conservative date: 1920s/1930s, Japan.
All decorations hand painted. Not transfer print.
