Rare vintage 1976 communist-era propaganda poster from Czechoslovakia. Graphic celebrates the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Communist Party (est. May 1921).
Overall good+ condition. No cracks or chips. Some light stains/marks (as pictured -- please examine photos closely). Red and gold colors are very vibrant.
Artist: Ales Stanovsky
Made from a unique material called "DrevoPlast," a combination of wood pulp and plastic. It's strong and slightly flexible (i.e. not flexible enough to be rolled).
Measures 23.5" high x 16.5" wide.
Made in Novy Jicin, Czechoslovakia. Purchased in early 1990s Czechoslovakia, when items from the communist era were still available.
Ideal for any Cold War era Eastern Bloc history enthusiast. Perfect office decor for an instructor of East Central European politics, history, etc.
