Stephenson county is in north central Illinois and is surrounded by Winnebago, Ogle, Carroll and Jo Daviess counties. The county seat is Freeport. Other towns include Cedarville, Dakota, Davis, Florence, McConnel, Orangeville, Pearl City, Rock Grove.
